NEET Eligibility Criteria
Check the eligibility criteria as mentioned below:
- Nationality: Candidates should be an Indian Nationals or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India).
- Age Limit:
Minimum – The minimum age limit is 17 years on 31st December of the year of admission.
Maximum – The maximum age limit is 25 years for general candidates and 30 years for reserved categories. - Qualification: Students must have passed/appearing 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology or any other elective subject with English.
- Percentage Criteria: Students must have secured minimum 50% marks in PCB group for general candidates and 45% (for general PH) and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC categories).

NEET 2017 Application Form
- Aspirants can apply for NEET exam only through online process.
- The NEET notification 2017 may be available on 15th January 2017.
- Candidates are advised to fill the application form as per the given instructions.

The notification for JEE Main 2017 registration has been released on 18th Nov, 2016.
JEE Main 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are suggested to check the JEE Main 2017 eligibility criteria before applying:
- Age Limit: Candidate’s date of birth should fall on or after 01 October, 1992 for general candidates and 01, October 1987 for SC, ST and PwD candidates.
- Candidates appearing/passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2015 or 2016 with PCM are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2014 are not eligible to apply.
- Number of Subjects in 12th: Aspirants should have minimum five subjects in 12th/qualifying examination.
- Number of Attempts: Candidate can attempt JEE Main exam three times only.
- Diploma (3 years) holders are also eligible to apply.
JEE Main 2017 Application Form
- Candidates are required to fill the JEE Main Application Form 2017 only through online process. The application form has been available from 1st December 2016.
- No other modes will be entertained to fill and submit the application form.
- The last date to fill the application form will be 16th January, 2017.
- Candidate can submit only one application form. More than one application form filling will lead to rejection.
- There is no need to send the printed application form to the CBSE Board.
Application Fee:
The application fee payment can be made through two modes online mode (debit/credit card) or offline mode (e-challan of Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC Bank). Application fee can be paid till 17th January 2017.

JEE Main Application Form Correction:
- Candidates now have a chance to made correction in the application form.
- Changes from CBT to PBT will not be entertained during the correction.
- Correction period (in images) has been announced from 10th December, 2016.
- Correction in particulars of application form will start from 25th January to 3rd February 2017.
- Any further corrections in application form after closing the correction period will not be entertained.
- Only selected and permitted entries may be modified.
JEE Main 2017 Exam Pattern
The JEE Main 2017 exam pattern for paper I and Paper II is given below:
JEE Main Paper I:
- Courses: It is held for engineering courses (B.Tech/BE).
- Number of Questions: It is consisted of 90 MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions).
- Subjects: The paper will be asked from subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Language: Hindi, English (candidates can select while filling the application form)
- Mode: It will be commenced via both; online & offline.
- Duration: 3 hours. (4 hours for the candidates having 40% or more disability)
- Marking Scheme: 4 marks for each correct response.
- Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response or multi-responses.

JEE Main Paper II:
- Courses: It is held for Architecture course. (B.Arch).
- Number of Questions: It is consisted of 82 questions (MCQs) out of which 30 questions from mathematics, 50 questions from aptitude test and 2 questions (descriptive) of drawing test.
- Subjects: The paper will be asked from subjects as Mathematics, Aptitude, Drawing.
- Language: Hindi, English (candidates can select while filling the application form)
- Mode: It will be commenced via offline mode.
- Duration: 3 hours. (4 hours for the candidates having 40% or more disability)
- Marking Scheme: 4 marks for each correct response (2 questions of drawing will carry 70 marks).
- Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect or multi-responses.

Admission Through JEE Main 2017
Admission to B.Tech & B. Arch. programs of Jamia Millia Islamia for the sessions 2017-18 will be based on the score in JEE(Main)-2017 Examination to be conducted by CBSE.
Important
Candidates interested in applying for JMI’s B.Tech or B.Arch programs are
required to:
a) Apply for JEE (Main) examination 2017 on CBSE portal at the following
link: http://jeemain.nic.in/jeemainapp/root/loginpage.aspx
1) Candidates seeking admission to JMI’s B.Tech programs must
appear in JEE (Main) 2017 Paper-1 examination.
2) Candidates seeking admission to JMI’s B. Arch programs
must appear in JEE (Main) 2017 Paper-2 examination.
3) Candidates submitting application for JMI’s B.Tech. as well
as B.Arch programs must appear in JEE (Main) 2017 Paper-1 as well as Paper-2 examination.
4) The seats for admission to B.Tech. and B.Arch. programs at JMI will be allotted as per prescribed JMI’s
Admission procedure, Applicable Reservation of Seats and MERIT solely determined by the score in JEE (Main)-2017 Paper 1 and Paper-2 respectively.
b) Apply for B.Tech. & B.Arch. programs on JMI’s admission portal at the following URL:

Candidate applying at JMI has to submit JEE Main 2017 registration number in online
application form.

Eligibility:
For B.Tech Course
(i) Sr. Sec. School Certificate (10+2) / Intermediate or its equivalent of a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry
and Mathematics as their main subjects, with not less than 55% marks in PCM and should have passed in 2015,
2016 or appearing in 2017.
OR
(ii) Diploma in Engineering recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of 3 or 4-year duration with
not less than 55% marks.
(iii)
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 17 years on 1st October of the year of admission.
For B.Arch Course
(i) A candidate who has passed 10 + 2 Examination and has secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate with
Mathematics, English, Physics, and Chemistry as subjects should have passed in 2015, 2016 or appearing in 2017,
shall be eligible to first year of the B. Arch. Course, subject to an aptitude test.
OR
(ii) A 3-year Diploma (10+3) recognized by Central/State govt. provided that the candidate passed the Diploma with
50% marks in aggregate.
